Sintex Industries Ltd has informed regarding a Press Release dated July 10, 2008, titled "Sintex Industries Limited: Q1 FY2009 Results Communication; Q1 FY2009 Net Sales up by 108% to Rs 7.15 billion, EBITDA stands at Rs 1.17 billion, up by 65%; Net profit improves 71% to Rs 565 million, EPS for the period : Rs 4.17."
Revenues in the textile segment increased by Rs 829 million. Operating profits stood at Rs 121 million translating to PBIT margins of 15%
Both 'Collection' and 'Fabric for Readymade garments' businesses enjoyed healthy demand.
