China’s logistics industry maintained steady momentum in November as index reached 50.9 per cent, rising slightly from October and remaining above the expansion threshold, according to the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing.

Activity strengthened particularly in the central and western regions, where business volume indices reached 51 per cent and 51.2 per cent respectively. The eastern region also improved marginally to 50.5 per cent.

Demand continued to firm in multiple sectors including furniture, reflecting broader recovery trends, said Chinese media quoting Hu Han from the China Logistics Information Center.

Market confidence also stayed strong, with the business expectations index recorded at 54.9 per cent, indicating continued optimism for the months ahead.
