Dr. P.K.Das

Dr. P.K. Das is an M.Sc graduate with more than 27 years research experience in Sericulture in Central Silk Board. He spent the vast span of his experience developing technologies at CSR&TI, recycling of sericulture wastes and farm residues as biogas, and developing cost effective model of commercial chawki mulberry garden for the rearing of silkworm. He has also shared his excellence by teaching students at CSR&TI, Mysore. Currently, he is working as a scientist at RSRS, Chamarajanagar of Central Silk Board, Govt. of India, developing technologies of dryland/rainfed mulberry Agronomy.

Dr. Das has authored numerous books, articles and papers. He was honored as the Best Scientist of Moriculture division of CSR&TI, Mysore. His hobbies include, socializing, reading, watching news, cricket, and cooking.
