Mittu Gupta

Dr Mittu Gupta has acquired her PhD in Science (Home Science ) specializing in Textile and Fashion Technology from University of Mumbai. Currently, she is working as Assistant Professor with SNDT Women University’s, Dr BMN College of Home Science, Department of Textile Science and Apparel Design, Mumbai, India from the last 10 years. She has been granted a research grant from University Grants Commission for Minor research project. She has also been associated with George Brown College, Canada as a Textile Professor

Dr Gupta has published her research and review papers in referred Textile Journals, Clothing trade Magazines , E- journals and many other sources . Moreover, she has shared her knowledge at various platforms through oral and poster presentations in conference and symposium at International and National levels.Beyond academics she has hands -on- experience of garment retail sector and has worked as Retail Store Manager. Her industrial experience is further widened by her exposure as Garment Production Manager and as Merchandiser.
