DCM Shriram Ltd has announced the incorporation of a new wholly owned subsidiary, Shriram Farm Solutions Limited (SFS), on July 4, 2025. Headquartered in Gurugram, Haryana, the newly formed entity will focus on the production and distribution of agricultural inputs including fertilisers, nutrients, crop protection products, seeds, and other farm solutions.
SFS has been incorporated with an initial paid-up share capital of ₹1 lakh (~$1,164) and is yet to commence its business operations. The entire equity of the new company—10,000 shares at ₹10 (~$0.12) each—has been subscribed in cash by DCM Shriram, which will hold 100 per cent ownership, the company said in a BSE listing.
DCM Shriram clarified that while SFS qualifies as a related party due to the shareholding structure, the promoters or promoter group have no direct interest in the subsidiary, apart from their shareholding in DCM Shriram Ltd.
The move aligns with the company’s broader strategy to strengthen its agri-inputs business and offer integrated farm solutions.
