The details provided by the NBS highlight a rise in several sectors of the energy industry. During July, thermal power output grew by 7.2 per cent, nuclear power by 2.9 per cent, wind power by a significant 25 per cent, and solar power by 6.4 per cent, compared to the same period last year.
In contrast, the country experienced a decline in hydropower output, which fell 17.5 per cent from a year earlier. Though significant, this decrease has narrowed compared to June, where it had been 16.4 percentage points higher, as per NBS.
