A staunch votary of exporters' issues, Saraf is a member of 5 different Export Promotion Councils, having an experience of multiple business segments, FIEO said in a press release. Besides, he also played a pivotal role in obtaining path-breaking judgements in cases of 80 HHC, Service Tax, Target Plus Scheme, Incremental Export Incentivisation Scheme (IEIS), etc.
Also a founder of Export Promotion Council for EOU and SEZ, Saraf during his earlier tenure in FIEO started innovative marketing initiatives by establishing distribution centres in several countries, helped in formulation of various export promotion policies on EOU, SEZ, advance licenses and other schemes.
