Germany’s employment barometer in manufacturing fell slightly in December 2022 to 0.9 points, from 1.3 points in November 2022, as per the research institution, ifo. The ifo Employment Barometer reached 99.5 points in December 2022, down from 99.6 points in November, showing that willingness among companies in Germany to hire new staff has dipped slightly.In trade, the barometer made clear gains, reaching minus 1.5 in December 2022, from minus 5.5 in November; however, there will be no increase in employment here for the time being.
