Grasim appoints Dilip Gaur as new MD

Gaur will replace KK Maheshwari, who will take charge as new managing director of the cement business of the group - Ultratech Cement, but will remain on the company’s board as a non-executive director.

He holds a BE degree in chemicals, and has completed an advanced management programme at the Harvard Business School. He has held managerial positions at several other organisations like Hindustan Lever for around 20 years prior to joining Aditya Birla.

He has many years of experience in industries like cement, FMCG, carbon black and metals. (MCJ)
