A call centre to address queries of exporters and importers was recently inaugurated in Mumbai by director general of foreign trade Alok Vardhan Chaturvedi. General information about foreign trade policy and international trade also can be obtained from the call centre. The centre has been set up by the Mumbai office of Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT).
During his visit to the office of additional DGFT, Mumbai, Chaturvedi chaired a meeting with regional chairmen and directors of several export promotion councils, wherein several issues faced by exporters and importers were discussed, according to an official release. (DS)
