Odour control and antimicrobial solutions supplier Microban International said it has expanded its Microban Microbiology Testing Services to non-partners. The testing service offers independent testing and verification capabilities for assessing antimicrobial performance of textiles and polymers, and was limited to only Microban partners till now.

The Microban fungal lab performs standard analyses to validate antifungal efficacy, modifies standard protocols for nutrient studies or utilises fungal chambers to simulate environmental conditions.
The microbiology lab on the other hand, performs standard industrial tests for bacteria and fungus, as well as specialised field swabbing and identification of bacteria and fungus in manufacturing and development environments. (AR)
