Chile's textiles and apparel sector is likely to register a significant 16 percent growth in 2011, Instituto Textil de Chile (Intech) has said.
Due to Chinese imports flooding the market, many of the Chilean fibre companies had to close their operations about five years ago. However, the textiles and apparel industry is seeing a revival after a successful restructuring campaign.
