Turkey's Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) has invited tenders for the sale of the country's large-scale textile company, Nergis Textile.
Nergis Textile Company was founded in 1978 to meet Turkey's quality polyester yarn and fabric needs. Official estimates put the price of the company at US$ 85 million.
Companies or consortia of companies interested in buying the company must submit their tender along with necessary documents to the Sale Committee on or before October 5, 2011.
The tenders will be opened at TMSF's office on October 6.
Representatives of companies interested to bid for the tender can visit the Nergis facilities in Bursa province between September 21 and October 3.
