South Korea based Capro Corp which runs three lines to produce caprolactam (CPL) has undertaken maintenance of two lines since October 6.
“Capro Corp has taken two lines; No–1 and No–3 off-stream for maintenance from October 6. The No-1 line will remain shut for a period of two weeks and the No-3 line will stay off-stream for three weeks”, a company official informed fibre2fashion.
The No-1 line has a production capacity of 60,000 tons/year, No-2 has a capacity of 60,000 tons per year and the No-3 line has a capacity of 150,000 tons/annum.
