Representatives of Italian companies visited Tunisia to establish business relations with local textile and clothing firms.
A total of 122 business meetings were held between representatives of 62 Tunisian enterprises and six Italian companies during the two-day visit.
The focus of the B2B meetings was on exploring Tunisian textile and clothing market, identifying cooperation and partnership potentialities in the sector, and establishing business relations with Tunisian companies.
Italy is the second largest market and accounts for 32 percent of Tunisia's total textile and clothing item exports.
