Thai Fujibo Textile Co. Ltd., the spinning subsidiary of Japan-based Fujibo Holdings, Inc., has begun restoration work at its Bangkok factory after completely draining out water from the premises.
The company said more engineers will arrive from Japan to enable early completion of restoration work.
Textile machines that are found to be operable would be gradually brought into operation, it added.
Meanwhile, another subsidiary Jintana Fujibo Corporation Ltd., which manufactures apparels, started operations earlier this month. The firm had suspended operations owing to flooding of adjoining roads, but now the situation has improved as waters have receded.
