Samsung Group's chemical company, Samsung Total plans to increase the production capacity to one million ton each for four flagship products-ethylene, styrene monomer, para-xylene and polypropylene by 2010.
Ko Hong-sik, the Chief Executive while unveiling the plans said that high oil prices have been a hindrance to company's growth. The company is a joint venture between Korea's biggest enterprise Samsung Group and French chemical producer Total S.A.
