JAFZA to start Dubai Tex City operations soon

Textile Merchants Group (TEXMAS) has decided to hand-over its office premise at the Dubai Textile City (DTC) to Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority (JAFZA) and Dubai Customs on February 28.

Dh250 million worth DTC is being developed by TEXMAS and is set to start operations under JAFZA from March 20.

DTC is built on a land spread over six million square feet and the total built up area is 2.2 million square feet.

Ashok Sawlani, TEXMAS Chairman, beamed at the reporters, “With support from the Government of Dubai, the project is now almost complete and DEWA is completing the power supply works."
