Jewelry, leather products and accessories worth Rp2.3 billion had been confiscated by the Customs and Excise Office at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport from six passengers between February 23 and March 10.
During this period, officials have found 110 sets of undeclared gold jewelry set with diamonds in a handbag, imported jewelry concealed in two laptop bags, 17 gold necklaces and bracelets, 96 pieces of gold jewelry, 33 items of leather bags and shoes.
During January 24 and 31 also customs officers also seized jewelry and dozens of leather products worth Euro5,000.
