The traditional burqa, the veil, has created more ripples in the media world than any silver screen personality had!
The recent controversy surrounding this Islamic garment is the result of play 'Burqavaganza' that has been banned by Pakistani Government.
A Ajoka Theatre group production, the play has been considered offensive by the Administration.
This drama is supposedly a satire on the wearing of burqa.
Theatre staged this play at Lahore before the Government issued immediate ban.
