China Association for Quality, on November 26, announced the names of enterprises who won 'China Quality Prize' for the year 2007. The event was organized in Beijing city. In total, 7 enterprises were honoured with the award, which is considered to be the highest prize in Chinese quality management field.
Kangnai Group, one of the leading shoes manufactures in China, mainly involved in medium and high-grade leather shoes, goodyear shoes, casual shoes, golf shoes making both for men and women, received the award for its outstanding contributions in the Chinese shoes-making industry.
Only those companies can qualify for these laurels, who maintain requirement like the product quality, proper quality management system and development strategy.
According to statistics, less than 10 enterprises win this quality prize each year and so far 51 enterprises won this award since it started from 2001. It is observed that only big enterprises qualify to apply for this award.
