Gia Dinh Textile and Garment Corporation (GIDITEX) has recently joined hands with Sai Gon Garment No.3 and Khang Thong Co, Ltd to establish Gia Dinh Development and Investment JSC, in a bid to develop real estate projects.
GIDITEX, which mainly works into the areas of industrial, textile and garment equipment, machine, material, accessories, is planning a US $43.7 million Trade center and a $31 million fashion designing center in Ho Chi Minh City.
The Ho Chi Minh City based company intents to pour in further finances to set up other high buildings as a strategy to deploy the unused land areas of Sai Gon Garment No.3 and Khang Thong Co.
In recent times, investing in real estate has become a trend among textile and garment companies in Vietnam, as they have land areas at good locations in big cities across the country.
