Charsadda, located in Khyber Pakthunkhwa, a town famous for its shoemaking industry, is all set to be a leather hub.
The Khyber Pakthunkhwa government will provide facilities to start leather industries in Charsadda, which will help local people involved in shoemaking and leather sector to increase their incomes.
The government would also set up common facility centres to provide technical training to artisans in Charsadda.
Apart from which, the artisans would also be extended interest-free loans to help them set up modern leather processing units.
