SGS SA acquires Accutest's assets and operations

SGS SA, a Switzerland based testing, inspection and certification services provider, has acquired the assets and operations business of Accutest Laboratories, a US based contract research organisation, for business expansion in the US, according to a press statement released by SGS.

This partnership is believed to add more than 600 employees, customer service centres in around 14 states, a national network of laboratories and a significant number of clients for SGS.

Commenting on the acquisition, Frankie Ng, CEO of SGS said, “This transaction is highly complementary. SGS Accutest will focus on helping customers enhance their environmental reputation, manage risk and increase business efficiency.”

“We are committed to a seamless transition for SGS Accutest customers and ensuring the highest levels of quality and service going forward,” he added. (MCJ)
