Vietnam's coat and jacket exports revenue in April 2006 fetched $50.6 million, representing year-on–year growth of 12 and 27 percent in term of volume and value, respectively.
Exports to the US reached $30.07 million and that to the EU were pegged at $12.1 million, recording growth rate of 11 and 30 percent, respectively.
Industry experts believe that with the growing demand for Autumn–Winter category goods, exports of these products is bound to rise further.
