An environment protection group has placed an order of about 10 thousand handkerchief to Shanghai Hanyu Textile Printing Co. Ltd., the only company producing it in Shanghai city.

Calls for environment protection and energy resources savings has led to this move since Chinese in recent years preferred paper towels more as they did not like using handkerchief as a gift item.

Having received the order, the manager of the Hanyu Textile Printing Co., Ltd hoped that the calls for environment protection will help in the resurrection of the handkerchief market.

Major share of Handkerchief made in China is exported to Japan, America and other EU countries.
