During the first half of November 2006, Vietnam's apparel enterprises witnessed a sharp increase in price of button imported from Hong Kong with 25 percent hike compared to same period of 2005.
Price of buttons imported from Hong Kong was $0.05 per button. While prices in other markets were in range of $0.01-0.08 per button.
During December 10 to 14, 2006, a business delegation from Hong Kong is going to visit Vietnam for economic cooperation and investment opportunities.
