The clothing accessory industry in Shishi City has developed at equivalent speed as the clothing manufacturing industry. The accessories are considered to be indispensable for the apparel industry. Presently this industry of Shishi remains on top in the domestic accessory market, with at least 2 billion sales per year.
In recent years, the accessory industry in Shishi City has developed many new products utilizing international technique and quality. Meanwhile, China Textile Information Centre presented Shishi City in the international fashion arena.
The China Textile Information Center, China Fashion Color Association and Fujian Clothing Chamber of Commerce together have set up an agent in Shishi City to present consultation and services to Quanzhou area regarding policies, expansion of trade and information, international clothing and fashion trends, as those in Shanghai and Beijing. At the same time, this will act as a platform for further development of the textile and clothing in Shishi.
Shishi City can boast of having lines of production, process, textile, printing and dyeing, accessories, ready-made, marketing and delivery and can be considered as one of the biggest clothing market in China or even in Asia.
