Allied Print Design Limited, trading as APD Pacific and specialising in designing, printing, and manufacturing of apparel, soft signage and textiles, is planning to operate its own production facility in Fiji, said managing partner and creative director Nicole Kruse. The firm is also planning to launch its own brand and wants to target Japan and New Zealand.

The Fijian family-owned business has acquired land in Suva for the facility, Kruse told a seminar organised by the Fiji Export Council and the Pacific Trade and Invest (PTI NZ) to prepare companies to be part of a trade mission in March next year.

The company exports its products to Tuvalu, PNG, Tokelau, Samoa and New Zealand, according to a report in a Fijian English-language daily. (DS)
