  • Inspired by Wimbledon and icons like Stan Smith, it features retro details, CLIMACOOL tech, and court-ready designs for both men and women.
  • The range includes apparel and accessories, balancing sport and streetwear aesthetics.
Today, adidas unveils The London Originals Collection – a celebration of sport, style and heritage, as the adidas Originals trefoil returns to one of the greatest stages in tennis for the first time in three decades.

The 36-piece collection draws from the rich culture born from the world’s oldest tennis tournament, and its iconic clubhouse, to explore fresh perspectives, new cuts and silhouettes on the white base of its long-standing dress code. The designs pay homage to the era-defining style of players including Stan Smith, who famously wore the trefoil in his incredible performance of 1972.

Inspiration from this tournament is embedded in every element, including open collars – a staple of 1970s tennis fashion – and vibrant green detailing, inspired by the tournament’s grass surface, decorating the trefoil and contrast stitching. The collection also introduces a series of unique design details, such as the polo shirt’s argyle-inspired pattern and zip pullers featuring a tennis ball motif. Hidden elements, such as a trefoil-and-tennis-ball tape lining on tops including the Women’s WOW Tank Pro, Polo Pro and Tank Top Pro, add an additional layer of racket sport inspiration to the collection.

Featuring adidas’ CLIMACOOL technology, the collection’s fabric wicks and disperses sweat to support a cool, dry and distraction free performance. adidas’ best cooling innovation – CLIMACOOL+ technology – is woven into pieces such as the FreeLift Tee Pro and FreeLift Polo Pro, providing advanced cooling through superior engineering and advanced materials.

The London Originals Collection includes statement pieces, such as pants for men and a two-piece dress for women, both designed for maximum style as athletes enter the court. Drawing inspiration from the Adibreak snap pant silhouette, these pieces are elevated with exaggerated volume, flowing trains and signature snap button detailing. These pieces blend Originals heritage with design elements from the on-court performance apparel – such as the green detailing and tennis ball zip pulls.

Designed for both on-court performance and off-court style, the women’s range includes a dress, onesie, tank top, pleated skirt, polo t-shirt, shorts, long-sleeve t-shirt and a jacket; all available in sizes 2XS-2XL. The men’s collection merges heritage aesthetics with modern tailoring, featuring a polo t-shirt, tank top, t-shirt, long-sleeve t-shirt, tight shorts and ergo shorts. Each piece – available in XS-2XL – is crafted for effortless mixing and matching – whether worn head-to-toe paired with an accessory, or as a standout piece with everyday classics.

Complementing the apparel collection is a fresh line of accessories, including a tennis bag, bucket hat and handbag, merging tradition with a fresh perspective on tennis attire.

Stefanos Tsitsipas, adidas tennis player, said: “This tournament has always meant something special to me. Growing up, I and many other athletes dreamt of playing here. I’ve always looked up to the legends of the sport – players like Stan Smith, who made the trefoil iconic on court. I see clips of matches from that era, always appreciating the style on show, so I love the idea that adidas is recapturing that through pieces that feel and look amazing, both on and off the court.”

Kerryn Foster, GM adidas Specialist Sports, said: “This collection is a curated balance of elevated design and technical precision. Modern yet timeless, it brings refined court style to life with versatile pieces that move effortlessly from high-performance play to everyday wear. Working within The London Originals Collection’s tight color palette demands a heightened attention to detail – delivering depth through material, silhouette and crafted finishes. Every piece stands strong on its own, but together, they tell a cohesive story.”
