Japan's Xenoma unveils smart apparel for elderly in US

Tokyo-based Xenoma recently unveiled its new wearable, smart loungewear at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2020 in Las Vegas. Called the e-skin Sleep & Lounge, the smart apparel is designed to monitor health of the elderly and offer them comfort. The apparel analyses the wearer's sleep condition and automatically adjusts the room environment.

Key features of the e-skin Sleep & Lounge include activity tracking, sleep analysis, and fall detection that sets off the emergency alarm, the company reported on its website..
