Rick Rouge, the Indian denim brand of Mischief Clothing Pvt. Ltd., is expanding its presence in north India.

The company caters only to men's segment and manufactures about 150,000 denims per annum.

Currently, the Rick Rouge collection is available in over 350 multi-brand outlets (MBOs) in Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Bihar, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and some parts of Kerala.

Mr. Manish Jain, Director, Mischief Clothing told fibre2fashion, “We are currently increasing our dealer network. At the moment, we are not looking forward to opening large formats or EBOs, as our focus is on making our distribution base strong.”

“We especially want to increase our presence in north India as we have almost covered central India. We have already added UP and Punjab in our distribution network this season. We want to add Delhi and then expand in Assam and Gujarat as well,” he reveals.

Talking about the growth of denim market in India, he opines, “Denim has grown a lot now and it is still growing. It is in great demand because of its comfort. In about 2-2.5 years, the denim market will grow to double the size of what it is now.”
