Designer Malini Ramani has joined hands with apparel brand Woodland and the United Nations Children’s Fund (Unicef) to launch an exclusive range of T-shirts.

A part of the proceeds generated from sale of these T-shirts would be used for promoting use of clean and safe drinking water in remote villages throughout India, the designer said, while speaking after a panel discussion organized by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) Ladies Organisation (FLO).

The new collection, to be designed under Wooland’s Pro Planet initiative, is likely to hit markets in March next year.

Unicef is currently actively engaged in providing clean drinking water to several villages and remote areas, which lack the facility.
