Belarusian firms to export apparels to Poland

Implementing of orders for apparel manufacturing by Belarusian companies for Polish and European firms, acquisition of Belarusian textile and other materials for the needs of Polish companies were discussed during a visit of a delegation of Bellegprom Concern to Lodz, Poland, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus.

The Belarusian delegation comprising executives and specialists of several Belarusian companies: Brest Hosiery Factory, Svitanak, Vosmoye Marta, Lenta, Lyudmila, Mogotex, as well as Polish dealers of Orsha Flax Mill, paid a visit to Lodz on the initiation of the Polish Association of Apparel and Textile Manufacturers.

The Belarusian representatives met with the top executives and members of the board of the Polish Association of Apparel and Textile Manufacturers to discuss cooperation prospects.

The parties signed a memorandum of understanding that outlined the main cooperation areas between Bellegprom Concern and the Polish Association of Apparel and Textile Manufacturers.

The Belarusian delegation visited an international exhibition Fashion Week Poland, held talks with the executives of the large wholesale/retail and exhibition center Ptak (Rzgow). The Belarusian delegation was hosted by burgomaster of the city Jan Mielczarek and Chairman of the Council Marek Bartoszewski who expressed their readiness to develop mutually beneficial cooperation between the companies of the two countries and showed interest in establishing relations and signing a partner agreement with one of the Belarusian regions.
