An India-based apparel and sports equipment manufacturing company would be supplying the full range of kit for all six teams participating in the inaugural Limacol Caribbean Premier League (LCPL) Twenty20 cricket tournament that begins on July 30, 2013.

TK Sports Private Limited would be supplying the kit, which would include practice jerseys, uniforms, gloves, pads, etc., to the six participating teams.

Since its establishment in 1984, TK Sports has supplied sportswear to several teams across all sports verticals all over the world. It has also provided uniforms to two of the teams—Kings XI Punjab and Sahara Pune Warriors—participating in the Indian Premier League.

“TK Sports India is pleased to have been chosen as the kit supplier for the Limacol Caribbean Premier League,” said Managing Director, Rajan Kohli, in a release.

“Our reputation for upholding the highest standards of quality control and using the best material and designers guarantees that the LCPL teams will be highly satisfied with their respective gear. We wish the LCPL management and the teams very best and look forward to outfitting them for years to come,” he added.

“Ensuring that our teams are using and wearing gear of the highest quality is of paramount importance to us because the quality of their performance can be affected if they are uncomfortable in their kit,” commented LCPL Chief Executive Officer Damien O’Donohoe.

St Lucia and Barbados teams would clash on the first day of the inaugural LCPL T20 tournament in Barbados.
