New dress code to place ban on jeans, pants at Mesa School
14 Apr '06
1 min read
A change in the dress code policy for students of Valley district school is in the offing.
Consequently, Mesa school pupil would soon be wearing comfortable dresses.
Students expressed their displeasure over ban imposed on the use of baggy or sagging jeans and pants, short shorts, small tops and shirts etc.
Apparels already in use are considered distractive to the learning environment, reported Mesa school.
Children now feel uncomfortable over the 'unfair' dress code.
However, it will not be a cake walk for authorities in the imposition as they have several hurdles to be cleared.
A public hearing is scheduled for April 25, 2006, when a possible outcome is expected.
