Istanbul Apparel Exporters' Association 2006 general meeting elections, organized at Yenibosna Foreign Trade Complex, concluded and the group led by Süleyman Orakcýoglu emerged victorious.
Of the two groups vie for the top position, Nadim Ozbek, Gulom Textile Chief Executive, bagged 278 votes whereas Orka Group Chief Executive Suleyman Orakcioglu got 633 votes.
However, Suleyman Orakcýoglu assured, "What's important is to unite and cooperate, while accepting this responsibility in the name of the sector. Through this constitution we will carry this trust carefully and successfully. We promise to do everything that is necessary for betterment of our sector.
