What mobile technology can do for clothing industry might stump readers. But it's a fact and Clothing Technical Innovation Centre of Fumen town in Dongwan has roped in China Mobile Company to set up an information base for clothing industry of Dongwan.
Fumen town is one of the major clothing production bases in Pearl River Delta.
After setting up this information base, clothing units in the town can manufacture products on the basis of customers' demand by acquiring on the spot information of fashion trends, clothing design, fashion accessories etc.
The new base will have three main sections namely mobile information platform of clothing industry, mobile business interactive platform and information platform of clothing chain units.
This base is expected to boost information network of clothing industry in the region.
