Retail Legend in the Making Award The 2005 Retail Legend in the Making award is presented to Steve Sosa of Sosa Original Clothing Inc. This award is presented to a retailer who has been in business for 10 to 15 years, has proven consistent growth through number of locations, staff and/or innovations, and is dedicated to improving its community. Retail Alberta's Board of Directors selects this honoree. The Retail Legend in the Making award will be presented at 7 p.m. at Carriage House Inn, Calgary.
"Steve exemplifies what some good basic business planning along with a never-say-never attitude can get you - a great retail business that has made its mark," says Wojcicki.
Sosa Original Clothing is also an active supporter of the community and has sponsored many events over the years, such as The Children's Wish Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, Stars Air Ambulance, EMS, Canadian Motorcycle Teams racing in Europe and Australia, in addition to other causes.
Retail Alberta (Retail Merchants Association of Alberta), formed in 1896, is the voice of retail in Alberta. It is a not-for-profit association whose over 2,000 storefront members comprise owner-operator businesses of an industry that is Alberta's leading employer.
