Dishang Group, located in Weihai city, is one of the China's largest apparel exporters. Earlier this year, Dishang invested US $6.3 million into acquisition of Paris brand 'Havery'.
Dishang intends to enter Paris mid-market of women's fashion by taking this opportunity. The Group plans to further enlarge and strengthen the brand though the French company's brand strength and Dishang's advantage in production.
It is reported that obtaining 'Havery' in only a small part of Dishang's overseas strategic plan. The company also plans to invest $40 million to acquire French Philo, one of the top ten of Paris haute couture brands.
