It is learnt that the Guangdong Provincial Bureau of Quality Supervision that Quality Supervision Bureau in Foshan city destroyed a counterfeiting site in a rental house on November 16 and seized a batch of clothing, carrying names of well-known brands, worth 1.1 million Yuan.
The Bureau dispatched 17 law enforcement officers to conduct a surprise inspection and they found that the unit was operating without any registration and neither any legal authorization. These law enforcement officers immediately seized on-site production equipment, finished products and semi-finished products.
The law enforcement officers seized 22,959 pieces of counterfeited finished and semi-finished clothing attached with labels of well-known US and European brands. The total value of the seized goods amounted to 1.1 million Yuan.
