Bloomberg & Klum contribute to NY garment industry

Mayor Michael Bloomberg has granted $244000 to a non-profit organization Garment Industry Development Corporation that trains and educates garment workers.
He said that the money would benefit garment industry in New York and help it remain competitive.
Claiming that New York has very skilled workers, Bloomberg added that city's garment industry is the best.
New York's fashion industry is worth an estimated $35 billion.
Supermodel, Heidi Klum, the Producer and Presenter of the New York based fashion reality show 'Project Runway', has also announced her contribution.
