VF Corp completes sale of LSG business to Fanatics

VF Corporation, a global leader in branded lifestyle apparel, footwear and accessories, has announced that it has completed the sale of its Licensed Sports Group (LSG) business to Fanatics, Inc, a global leader for officially licensed sports merchandise. VF had recently made the announcement of entering into a definitive agreement with Fanatics.

VF Corporation's LSG business, which includes the Majestic brand, supplies apparel and fanwear through licensing agreements with US and international professional sports leagues and teams. The company outfits consumers around the world with its diverse portfolio of iconic lifestyle brands, including Vans, The North Face, Timberland, Wrangler and Lee.

Fanatics comprises the broadest online assortment by offering hundreds of thousands of officially licensed items via its Fanatics, FansEdge and Kitbag brands, as well as the largest selection of sports collectibles and memorabilia through Fanatics Authentic.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed (KD)
