The World Trade Centre (WTC) Mumbai recently signed memoranda of understanding with WTC Medellin and WTC Cali in Colombia. The three will work to set up science and technology parks in both nations and undertake trade promotion activities. Colombia can serve as India’s gateway to Latin America, said Rupa Naik, senior director of WTC Mumbai.
Guillermo Acevedo, executive director of WTC Medellin and WTC Cali was in Mumbai on an invitation from the Indian commerce ministry to participate in a textile programme, according to a press release from the World Trade Centres Association. (DS)
