Another readymade garment factory goes up in smoke

Readymade Garment (RMG) sector seems to be cursed by fire as another shocking news of properties worth over Tk 5 lakh went up in flames at Intimate Garment and Sweater Factory near GEC crossroads, sources said, Wednesday night.
However, this time no casualty was reported as the incident took place when the workers had left the factory after work.
Fire Service sources said that fire broke out at the storehouse of factory on the fifth floor of Central Plaza Shopping Centre at around 11 PM.
Initial reports indicate electric short-circuit to be the reason for fire.
