Garment industry has been allocated with the development fund of more than one million dollars under President's Special Initiative (PSI) by Ghana government.
Kwabena Agyepong, Press Secretary to President, informed media that this decision was taken after witnessing considerable growth achieved in garment industry since the initiative began.
More than 9000 people have been trained to work on various machines to produce the garments which keep on receiving orders from Europe and the USA, added Agyepong.
