Liseberg amusement park designs an Islamic uniform

When a Muslim woman was denied employment at Liseberg amusement park in Sweden because of her headscarf, operators of this park in Gothenburg designed an Islamic uniform, which included headscarf for female Muslim workers.
Swedish official for Discrimination Cases (DO) held that if a religious headscarf deprived female employees from wearing uniform and thus from jobs, park's uniform regulations needed to be changed.
A Liseberg spokesperson said the park's uniform policy has been changed for the better and park is even providing long-sleeved shirts and a headscarf with colours matching with those of park.
