During the third meeting of Vietnamese-Turkish Joint Economic and Trade Committee held in Ha Noi, Vietnam's Minister of Trade, Truong Dinh Tuyen proposed Turkey to remove exports quota imposed on textile and apparel products.

The EU and Canada have abolished quotas on Vietnamese products and now only Turkey and the US have imposed quota on garment goods.

Elimination of quotas by turkey will help Vietnamese companies to grow at faster rate and trade relations between these two countries will improve.
