Apparel companies focus on brand building

Vietnamese garment companies now focusing on strong brand building and trademark development in domestic as well as international market, informed Nguyen Dinh Truong, Director General of Viet Tien Garment Company (VTEC).

Over the past five years, Viet Tien Garment Company has spent more than US $10 million to improve its production line by purchasing equipment from Japan and Singapore, Nguyen Dinh Truong stated.

Viet Tien sells its products to the US, EU, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Philippines, Japan and Thailand. Company has also grown distribution network in domestic market.

Vietnamese brands are becoming more famous and its handbags and suits are selling as high as VND1.5 and VND5 million respectively.
