Government of Kuwait has decided that it will not allow men to work at ladies' clothing stores. A ban for this purpose will be implemented from April 7, 2007 and violators will face legal action.
Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour issued a circular stating that time period of three months will be given to outlets for replacing present male staff with women.
Ladies' apparel outlets as well as lingerie stores will be facing the ban.
